[clue] seeking self-employed clue-ers (not linux topic)

Hey, so I'll keep the story short so I don't spam the mailing list.  I've
been doing allot of soul-searching lately about the idea of freelancing -
starting a business.  Don't misunderstand me, I'm quite aware that it's not
an easy road, and I'm also aware that the odds are astronomically stacked
against me, so it damn sure better well be something that I enjoy.

Whilst contemplating the enormity of the mountain before me, it occurred to
me that the clue list might have some entrepreneurs willing to dispense
advice.  If that's the case, please email me off the mailing list and we
can chat.  (this isn't a linux topic)  I need to get some idea of where or
how to start, and I've had people tell me it's easy as filing the right
paperwork, but I don't believe that for a second.    In either case,  I'm a
huge believer in the value of experience, and as I have none in the
self-employed world, I am attempting to seek out others who do = )
