My wife decided she like the OnePlus One phone https://oneplus.net/.  I saw reference on it to 
cyanogen so it may turn out to be more Free than most Android phones.  Didn't dig any deeper than 
that so it might be proprietarized.  It works well but you'd expect good integration if it's being 
sold with known hardware.
