(see below for full bio/backgrounder)<br><br>----- Forwarded Message -----<br><br>"Bio: <br>Marquis A. Lewis currently drives school bus for Cherry Creek School District. He became interested in open source software about 3 yrs. ago when a friend referred him the the program, "Gimp" and asked him to create a virtual book cover for a digital book for the friends business. Mr. Lewis has always been interested in photography (which runs in his family) but not had the means to do much with it in a creative way. One program led to another, which led to another until Mr. Lewis had about $6,000-8,000 in software installed and includes the programs: Gimp, Inkscape, Audacity, Linux Multi-media Studio, Muse Score, and Blender. Over the last two years he's been getting to know the various
programs and exploring some ways to increase his income using them. <br><br>Currently, Mr. Lewis volunteers his time with the Rocky Mountain School of Ministry and Theology producing videos that will be distributed world-wide and will be for college credit. His duties involve merging live video with a "Power Point" type presentation and synchronizing everything with the audio. He has also produced home tour videos for a local realtor, and is currently working on a job interview video for a friend who works in the cosmetic industry. <br><br>In the near future Mr. Lewis would like to use his talents to help realtors and home owners with marketing their homes and businesses and has plans to begin marketing his services soon. <br><br>As far as my topic: <br><br>"Blender, most useful program ever or evil conspiracy to take over the world and disrupt the time/ space continuum?" <br><br>-or- <br><br>"Using Blender to overthrow Middle Eastern dictatorships."
