No, not talking about the website at this point. I don't see hosting the site on personal machines as something sustainable. I was more musing on something that could benefit CLUE members and a fun project at that.<br>

Are we still talking about the web site? The volumes would need to be unencrypted on the nodes running Apache so are we encrypting to protect the data at rest or to protect the data from those that have root access to the remote nodes?<br>

Taking it to the next step, and I have updated the subject to reflect the change in topic, why not rsync encrypted volumes between willing members? Have a distributed backup that could easily be recovered in case of a failure.<br>
