Since we are technical folks and "very" is a near meaningless form of measurement, this is what I have found. Average page lot time seemed to be about five seconds, unless the link went to an external site or 404'd ( <a href="http://www-dev.cluedenver.org">http://www-dev.cluedenver.org</a> is very responsive ). To further quantify what I witnessed I went to a few speed testing sites and have summarized their finding below. I hate to call the 4.4 second response time a fluke... but it really seems to be. Personally I feel any page with over a two second response time is too slow.
