I currently operate <a href="http://webdt.org" target="_blank">http://webdt.org </a> and have some experience hacking linux on to proprietary hardware. Sadly though I do not have a hundred bucks laying around to play with. </div>

I will document the steps and methods taken to install whatever we choose to. With 16gb of space I dare say anything is possible IF we can get an image to take. Once we have a product worthy of showing off lets hold a Clue session teaching others (who have interest) explaining how we did it? </div>
<div><br></div><div>The fact that this device has a 1.3 mp camera and multitouch display this is a steal of a deal. Applications are numerous from replacing kiosks to low level vision applications and it even looks decent for personal use. I could easily see a few of these around ones home controlling wifi lighting dimmers, entertainment electronics, ip based thermostats, IP camera views, or even as a front end to another computer. </div>
<div><br></div><div>If I fail I will re image the touchpad with the original operating system (backed up) and return it to you unscathed. My time will be free as this is aimed as being a community learning experience. </div>
