Hi David- Thanks for the pointer- that's really good info, and interesting (it looks from that like Arch has a slightly different set of parameters in the consolekit config though...)<br><br>Oddly, though the issue seems to have been resolved...<br>
<br>I have an external usb device that I configured Slackware to mount at startup in fstab. once I unmounted that and remounted it, all seems fine. I had suspected that this might have been part of the issue.<br><br>Thanks for the help-<br>
