I'm working on installing 12 on my main computer. So far I see no reason to believe the proprietary nvidia driver isn't just plain junk. System seems to just plain MUCH happier on FOSS drivers.<br><br>Bean<br><br>

</div>My older nvidia cards are unhappy with Debian lately. I guess they've dropped the nv driver for the<br>
fully open one that isn't ready yet (nouveau, maybe?). So updates to Xorg take fiddling to keep the<br>
nv driver installed (I've gotten the source and built it with the current kernel but I'm leery of<br>
building it against 3.x).<br>
