<div dir="ltr">I use chef for my real provisioning stuff, but on the rare occasions that I've needed to do stuff by hand, cssh has been awesome. My one complaint is that it doesn't tile the windows very well if you have more than 15 or so concurrent connections.<br>

I'm still a fan of rdist for static file distribution, pssh for running commands on all the nodes in a system community and git for configuration file control. DNS, NFS and LDAP also play roles in well managed computer system communities. <div>

This is an interesting program. I've used Konsole's "copy input to all tabs" to solve this problem<br>
but cssh is probably easier if you need to do that a lot.<br>
<br>
Of course if you were really serious you'd use capistrano or a CM tool like puppet.<br>
