It's free (not libre) and is windows only (though it seems to mostly be a packaging libre cross-platform products under the hood, aside from UI elements and their network discovery special sauce), and has the added bonus of that it can scan your network and do most of your initial discovery and updating for you.</div>

1. Project 1: filesystems<br>

Each filesystem created uses the -L option to to provide a label with a<br>
Redmine Issue id included. That issue id is the collection of history<br>
about that filesystem in whatever format you describe for that project<br>
in Redmine (you can add custom fields, for example).<br>

Each server has an IP address which maps to a Redmine task name in<br>
Project 2 that contains the history and current configuration of that<br>
server. Custom fields are added for quick views of current<br>
configuration.<br>

Redmine: it's not just for tracking bugs....<br>
