I've had good luck with most of the higher-end Dell printers. Even if they lack explicit Linux support, their postscript stack is usually good enough that it kinda "Just Works". In particular the MFP 3115n and 2155cdn. I'm not sure if those models are current, but if not, their successors would be worth investigating. At home I own a Samsung CLP-315w, which as I recall was under $100, and it too has served me well.

QH

On Tue, Oct 14, 2014 at 5:26 PM, Andrew Diederich <andrewdied@gmail.com> wrote:

I'm leaning on replacing my Brother HL-5250DN black and white laser printer with a color printer. The Brother did ok, but never quite bonded with linux. Even though Brother sported a linux driver, it has some well-documented choking on graphics. Does anyone have a color laser printer they've enjoyed? Duplex is a must, wireless would be extremely nice.

--

Andrew Diederich
andrewdied@gmail.com
