<div dir="ltr">I've been using Acronis for many years. There are a few factors that can make it that slow:<div><br></div><div>1) Obviously, the amount of data - how big is the snap?</div><div>2) Backup media - what were you saving the image too? USB drive? Across the LAN / WAN? DVD?</div><div>3) Composition of snap - lots of small files? I noticed that once you go over the million file mark, it takes Acronis a painfully long time to index before it even starts to backup.</div><div>4) Acronis Linux boot media or Windows PE boot media? I've found the Windows media to be significantly slower.</div><div><br></div><div>I've also used CloneZilla - but you might want to take a look at some of the above factors.
