At that time, with the development of the OP Amp (Operational Amplifier, because it performs mathematical operations) , a lot of smart people thought that analog computers were the future of computers. I have a Philbrick Researches Inc. op amp sitting in my office that I like to show people. It contains 2 Vacuum Tubes. <br><br></div>Something to chew on.<br></div>Steve <br></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Wed, Dec 30, 2015 at 10:40 AM, Raymond DeRoo <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:rderoo@deroo.net" target="_blank">rderoo@deroo.net</a>></span> wrote:<br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><div style="word-wrap:break-word">Chris,<div><br><div><blockquote type="cite"><span class=""><div>The Last Question: Isaac Asimov.
