 + Items priced over $20 -- percentage to CLUE
 + All items must be placed by 6:45 pm
 + Participation form -- posted on web site.

CLUE North
 + 45 total votes (as of 2/1/01):  31 yes, 14 no
 + We would need some help from CLUE north members
 + Possibly start as a sub-group?
 + Competition against BLUG?  / Why not go to BLUG?

Non-Profit Status
 + Several Types of Non-Profit Organizations -- http://www.irs.gov/
 + IRS 501(c)(7) -- Social Clubs
   + Organized for pleasure, recreation, etc.
   + To be tax-exempt, cannot discriminate (race, sex, color, religion)
   + Membership must be limited.
   + Club should be solely supported by membership dues and assessments.
   + Up to 35% of gross receipts from outside sources.
   + Greater percentage may cause revocation of tax-exempt status.

 + IRS 501(c)(3) -- Charitable Organization
   + Charitable, religious, educational, scientific, literary organizations
   + Charity must be organized into one of these legal entities:
         Corporation, Community Chest, Fund, or Foundation
