Thanks for everyones input.

I incorporated a few changes, including the juicy typo. I also linked to the
guidelines from the 'Presentations' page.

Lynn,

When you confirm speakers, please send them this link:

Thanks!

Hola.

Due to recent requests, I created a CLUE-Announcement list. We will use this
list to announce meetings, events, installfests. It is a one-way list, so it
is not suitable for discussion. Also, all posts are moderated. I am
currently the moderator. If anyone wants to do it, let me know and I can
hook you up! It will only be a few emails (1-5) per month, so not much of a
burden.

This will help CLUEbies keep track of emails that are not lost in the large
traffic of CLUE-Talk and CLUE-Tech. It will also help more casual CLUEbies
keep track of events.

*** Please make sure that your announcements go to CLUE-Announce ***

In addition, I would like to remove the CLUE-Newsletter list. Grant is
aware of this change. Here are the reasons:

+ We as the group of admins have not produced content for the newsletters.
Grant is only the editor, not the writer. We were supposed to contribute to
it!. I don't think this trend will change soon. For example, I personally
wrote one article for it in 1998 and nothing since.
+ The email list has no archives and no traffic.
+ We have three newsletters posted to the web site over the past 4 years.
+ Most of the CLUE news get distributed on the home page.
+ If some motivated volunteer wants to start writing newsletters, by all
means let me know ASAP and we will keep the list!

I will move the CLUE-Newsletter subscribers to the Announce list unless
someone has a strong counter argument.

Also, I will send out notification of the new email list this weekend to
CLUE-Talk and CLUE-Tech.

Jeff
