[CLUE-Admin] Distro CDs and Open Office CDs?

You would have to check with the individual groups
offering the software on that.  If they are like
Linux distributions (which I am guessing most are),
then you will have some that will have issues on 
doing things like that (SuSE is one example, hence
why there are no more i386 ISO images past version 
7.0).

If Open Office says it is okay, I would go for it.
Hancom might be another option.  StarOffice up to
5.2 is another example (though I prefer 6.0, save
that it is no long freeware").

Just some things to consider.
