FWIW, we have not announced the O'Reilly stuff on our email lists. I have
personally setup 3 or 4 banner ads for them that ran on CLUE web site for a
few weeks or months. The one difference is that I normally posted the banner
ad on the home page.

In the past, O'Reilly did not ask us to spam our email lists, so I don't think
we need to know. Our web site gets > 800,000 page views a year (~2200 per
day) - they're ad will definitely be seen.

I agree that a blantant ad to the lists is probably not a good idea. So, I
suggest that we keep it on the sponsors page and also put it in the 'News and
Notes' section. We had another O'Reilly ad there a few months ago and no one
complained.
