Jeff, since I still haven't managed to get a hold of Rick Burton,
I'd like to count on you for the KISS presentation this month.

I'll try to line up Rick for February. I'm hurting for KISS
presentations right now. I'd really appreciate more volunteers.
I can probably do a KISS talk in March, but I won't be in town
the month of February. So, if I can't get Rick lined up and
don't get a volunteer, You'll need to fall back to a Q&A session
or something like that.

The last time I sent a post to clue-talk/tech asking for volunteers
and subjects of interest I got no replies. If any of you saw some
replies that I missed let me know. The only useful discussion I
saw was on this list. Maybe now that more folks are settling back
in after the holidays I'll get a better response. I'll try one
more time.

Otherwise, I think I have main talks covered through the first quarter:

January - PostgreSQL 7.3 w/ Scott Marlowe
February - Jeffco Linux Rollout w/ Otis Lamar
March - Open Office w/ Solveig (pronounced "Solvay") Haugland
April - Linux Routing w/ Zonker

Solveig will be bringing a copy of her new "OpenOffice.org Companion"
in March. Crawford -- I think Solveig would be willing to talk to
CLUE North in February if that's of interest to you. She said that's
when her OpenOffice book is getting released. Her talk will include
a comparison of OpenOffice and StarOffice and a tips and tricks
demonstration.

I'm going to try to get Cricket to talk on DNS in May or June. (I'll
keep you posted on that.) Hopefully Dave and Roy will be willing to
do a sendfax presentation in that time frame as well. That should
take us through the first half of the year if everything works out.

I'll update the web pages soon.

Lynn
