Even in the newer stuff, it doesn't strip e-mail addy's from the
remainder of the message:

So, it protects the sender, but you can easily cull the e-mail addresses
of the active list members as soon as someone replies to them with a
string like this in the body:

It's a start, but doesn't solve the whole problem, unfortunately.
