I would recommend that you check the archives. A lot of people use
RH-centric distros. There are certainly a lot of Debian fans,  a few
SuSE fans, and a few Gentoo renegades like myself.

You like it, you got it seems to be the operative approach.

The CLUE server is running Fedora FC3 which should become really
interesting (tm) really soon now, since Fedora is getting ready to
stir the pot with an FC4 release based on GCC4 which can hardly be
described as stable.
