I'm sorry, but without some context, I can't connect this with anything.
This thread is so far indented now that tracing replies back ... I don't
think my screen is wide enough.

All I can think to say is that I don't think there's a way to source a
script, when it's invoked either as a login shell or in the sshd_config
file. But maybe there's something else?
