So what if I can't read? For some reason, I thought a nightly gzip script in
mailman's crontab was doing the archives.
After jogging my memory, I realized that archives are built automatically. I
think because I moved the mbox files from the old server, that somehow this
has mailman confused.
I manually rebuilt the archives. I added a nightly cron job to rebuild
archives as a temporary fix. I also posed my question on mailman-users.
Hopefully, this should be simple to sort-out. I'm not sure why it's fubar
because moving a list is pretty simple [or so I thought].
