root's mail gets redirected to tech, which appears to be an ETC tech's 
account.  It's up to 50MB+ (I bet the limit is about 50MB) so no more 
mail goes there.

Unfortunately I haven't switched to postfix yet so I don't have the 
bandwidth to pick that up.

I'll be there of course.  I can't say I'll be much help but you know I'm 
always good for voicing opinions. ;-)
