I can and will verify with Dave A. since the account was initially under Linux ETC before being passed off to Dennis.  Both Dave A. and Dennis have submitted checks to Linux ETC for payment of VPS services for 6-month and 1-year terms.  I believe even Jeff Cann did as well, but that would take some digging on my part through the Linux ETC accounting records.

As for not recalling the (numerous) email threads on this topic, the CLUE web site has links to the Mailman archives open to the "general public" or masses.  There is no restrictions in accessing these to review on one's own free time and leisure to be brought up to speed.  Worst case, perhaps David W. might be generous and kind enough to pull up those threads as well since I do recall reviewing those on the primary CLUE list as well as the "old" CLUE-Admin lists.  However, that is David W.'s choice as well.
