I came across an interesting, albeit non-mainstream distribution called Rock Linux. It uses scripts to download source packages and compiles them to build a complete system. It seems to be designed for sysadmins instead of the end user and appears to be between Red Hat, Debian, et.al., and Linux From Scratch. www.rocklinux.org www.lfs.org -- Dennis
