SCSI:  I can't imagine there are very many scsi cards that don't work under linux.  can you give us
 the model/brand/chipset??

NTFS:  I have read ntfs, it works perfectly.  I have written ntfs, it encourages you to reinstall NT 
(ie:  killed my ntfs filesystem ;-(    )
