AFAIK-

I have never needed to mount audio cdroms.  The cd players take care of that 
and have been for a long time.  Even the 'workbone' program (a command line 
audio cd player) will automount the cdroms.

The automount in your fstab is for mounting data cds, which are most often of 
the iso9660 filesystem.
