Back in the early 80's, I worked with several Iraqis sponsered by our
government (raygun & bush). This was in my original work as a lab tech (I
received my degree in microbio/genetic engineering). They went on to receive
other training from our government (not just the university) prior to going
back to Iraq. Bioweapons are so easy to manufactuer, that it is a joke (it
is for this reason that our planes, trains, buses, and borders will never be
secured). I have absolutly no doubt that Iraq has bio-weapons as taught and
supplied by us.

Chemicals weapons always struck me as easy to make as many of the synthesis
descriptions are on line, assuming that you can get the proper base
chemicals. Since there is a fair amount of trade flowing to Iraq, I think it
is safe to assume that they have at least limited chemicals. My understanding
of the japanese terrorist group who attacked at train with sarine actually
made it.

As to nukes, well, raygun/bush taught them the bio-weapons. How do you know
that we did not teach and sell them enough that with a bit of work they could
figure the rest out? Or how about we taught them a-j, the russians taught
them n-z, and all that is left is k,l, and m?

And yes, raygun, et.al. have placed us in this position, but it is still a
problem that must be dealt with. And I would guess that sooner is much better
than later. The next issue will be stopping this situation from arising over
and over, but then again we have given much of public oversight of our
government in this last year.
