Project censored probably does have some leanings, I'd agree.
Still, I think that they're right-on when it comes to their
assessment of stories that should have been covered. Maybe
a right-leaning group could come up with a few more.

I will say this, there are a few issues that go against PC that
the press isn't willing to go against. I don't think that's a
liberal slant, I think that's cowardice. More than a few
conservatives fit into the PC group as well.

Another note on the Lott thing, maybe the reason Byrd got a pass
is a factor that's fairly new to the arena -- Bloggers.

This story from Time suggests that Bloggers had something to do
with keeping the flame alive:

It will be interesting to see if the media slant, whether to the
right or left, has to bow to pressure from bloggers.

If Byrd had made his comments now with a full-blown "blogosphere"
I think he would have been crucified as well.
