I read these documents last night, right after I had read about some
college student getting a visit from the FBI for reading this:

A rather sickening experience, taken together.

The one thing I would never buy about the Iraq war is that it was all
about the oil.  Seeing these documents of Iraqi oil fields, and who
controls them, in an energy task force in Mar 2001 makes me ill.  I
really need to hear the explanation for this.  I hope there is some
benign reason they were dicussing the oil capacacity of a Nation that
could not sell much oil because of our own imposed sanction.

I, too, was wondering if any of the so-called liberal media would pick
this story up at all.  My guess is they won't touch it with a ten foot
pole.
