thanks a bunch, this really helps. i'll pass this info onto said friend (he
actually runs his own isp selling dsl so he probably knows what all that
means and at least knows wether or not the speedstream will work) i lost the
auction last night at the last minute(frigging snipers) but i'm kinda glad
cause i didn't want to buy a modem that might not work
