CPU:  Athlon 1600
RAM:  unknown manufacturer
Video card:  unknown manufacturer
Motherboard:  Elements 830CF

The system logs don't show anything.

I don't think it's the fan.  I just took the covers off, started the machine, and 60 minutes later both fans seems to be running just fine.
