When I was young (around the time God decided to invent water) the Canadian dollar was worth $.96.  I have travelled extensively in Canada. at last look the Canadian dollar was worth $.67.  It makes it a GREAT place to vacation (Toronto & Vancouver especially).  Open boarders have put a strain on their human services department.  Canadians are amog the most heavily taxed workers in the world.
