    seems to me to be a very
    straightforward associated press
    article, full of facts, some
    expressed in numbers:

    57,000 more have jobs in sept

    new claims for unemployment down
    5,000 last week

    american workers' wages and
    benefits up 1% last quarter,
    which is a slight improvement
    over 0.9% the previous quarter

    perhaps this was just lame-brained
    sarcasm on your part.

    funny the twerp doesn't mention
    a few other little economic
    issues:

    large clinton budget surplus has
    vanished, to be replaced by a large
    shrubbo budget deficit

    tax cuts which mostly benefit the
    well-to-do and wealthy, not the
    large numbers of regular folks
    who are  still without jobs

    balance-of-payments problem
