I really don't know what the community attitude is toward
the http://opengroup.org/ but I thought I would pass this 
along for any one interrested who wishes to add their 
name/organization to the cause.

The Open Group has published the Declaration at 
http://www.opengroup.org/declaration/ and is asking supporters to visit 
the web site where they can sign it.
