In the case of a musical group, it's the lifespan of the last surviving
member of the group at the time the recording was made and who participated
in the recording. Of course the lyricist and musical composer share rights
and in this case would be considered part of the group.

Yeah, as soon as they declare bankruptcy, they are bought up.

I know that, and while I hate it, I'm sure the MPAA has already thought of
this and are ecstatic about that.

This whole thing about Corporations being legal "persons" is complete
bullocks in my eyes which is one of the reasons I have yet to incorporate
(and never will) my business(es).
