True, but learning to type is relatively easy (or should be anyways).

What about the local public/private school? I know that they are teaching
computer classes at lower and lower grade levels all the time (I've heard of
some schools having computer classes as young as first grade). Otherwise
there is a kde package (which I forget the name of at the moment) that is an
excellent typing tutor and I'm sure you along with that should accomplish
the task of teaching your daughter to type. (:
