and your point?

godaddy is the same as network solutions or any other registry.
Networksolutions charge huge amounts due to ignorance on user parts.
godaddy and a number of other registries operate by dealing with NS in volumn
and passing on the savings.

BTW, godaddy is slightly high. There are several other registries that are
cheaper (5.00/domain) and use Linux instead of Windows for their server.
Personally, I hate sending my CC to a windows based server. A little stat
that most people do not pay attention to, is that windows accounts for almost
100% of all CC thefts, and yet they have somewhere around 50% of all https.
Next time you hear of a system crack and cc's beings stolen, do a netcraft on
the system. better than 99% chance it is windows. In fact, the last non-ms
system that I have seen stolen from was at playboy.com, where they run sun if
IIRC.
I will say, that I thought that recently somebody have found a major
breakthrough when visa and discover had a large number of CC's stolen. Both
sites use sun. But latter it was shown that a bank in nebraska was where the
crack happened; they were a windows shop.
