They promised full support a few years ago. Should have hit by IE 5.

Now, it appears, that IE 7 will finally support it correctly.

If you want it supported - you have to fix "your code" to work around MS
code.

I'm sure this comes from the fact the PNG standard is not up to snuff
and Microsoft is "embracing and extending" the standard by doing away
with the handling of transparency. After all, who uses it anyway? If
it does display correctly in IE - it doesn't count - no matter how many
standards it meets...
