I agree with the fact that Apple charges you more for what you get 
(performance-wise) but you can't just go by "specs" because they're 
often not a good indication of performance.  Also, Mac's tend to have a 
much longer lifespan.  Maybe some of that is due to their price, but 
their components also seem to be of higher quality.
