[clue-talk] Macs are cheaper than Windows, but is Linux still cheaper still?

He mentions reboots.  I own a 3-year old powerbook which is used
daily, and put to sleep for hauling around in a backback with whatever
applications are running.

The powerbook has a slight ding in the metal case from being in my
backpack when I went over the hood of a car.

Uptime on this box is usually measured in months, with reboots only on
those rare occasions that Apple's software update insists.

I don't think many wintel desktops have that kind uptime.
