I forgot to mention that about Dreamhost - Ruby there as well.

I also forgot that we were supposed to lay down our dislikes.

Lunarpages - my site was down for three days and no consolation nor
compensation was offered.

PowWeb - They have this fancy clustering technology that merges your
shared site with tens of thousands of other sites so they are all
(marketing talk) faster and more reliable (end marketing talk). In
practice, it means that the site is slower more often.

HostDime - I'm not even sure if they are a real company or a reseller,
but service was not great and neither was pricing. I had my sites
shut off maybe twice due to billing mistakes on their end - and they
sold an "unlimited plan" that was unlmited, but kept getting reset to
limited so I'd have to call and say "unlimit me" and then a month
later it would go back.

I've had decent experience helping other folks on Site5, but not great.

I know it's a tough business and I know it's got razor thin margins
and I know that lots of times two different people will have opposite
experiences with the same host. These are just my experiences with
these folks.

Regards,
Greg
