By the time you read this I will have unsubscribed ... maybe for a few 
weeks or months, maybe permanently. I just thought I ought to say 
something ... after my weird little outburst a couple weeks ago, some of 
you might have wondered if I'm all right. Well, no, not really. I don't 
think I can adequately explain this without getting extremely long and 
boring, but the condensed version is that I find myself to be a failure 
in every aspect of life, and I'm sick of it, and I need to try and get 
back to a place where I can have some self-respect. The whole geek 
culture ... I can't say for sure that it's hurting, but it definitely 
isn't helping. Plus the fact that, even though I hate arguments and 
really can't handle them, I seem to start one every time I express an 
opinion in this group.

Those of you who know me personally, if you ever have reason to get in 
touch, my e-mail address is still the same. I won't bite--as long as you 
don't raise the subject of why I've left this list.
