[clue-talk] Firefox & Gmail

I'd post this over on cluetech, but since it's not strictly Linux-only, I'll
do it here:
I've been annoyed the past few weeks by Gmail + Firefox failing for me: it
failed on W2K, XP, & Ubuntu. I tried removing most all of my addons, and
didn't have any luck. The symptom was that when I went to click on any
message, I'd wait and wait and wait, and eventually get a pop-up about
a script failing.
Well, I got fired up to try to get to the bottom of this tonight, and found
this thread. I tried creating a gmail exception for AdBlock Plus (even
though I know I had removed this before and tried it on my work machine) at
the same time that I cleared my cache. One of those did the trick. Here's
the thread:
http://groups.google.com/group/mozilla.support.firefox/browse_thread/thread/00586a810725fa4d/ab55bea6e7569330?lnk=raot
Now I don't have to use the non-Javascript version of Gmail anymore. BTW,
this started after upgrade to 2.0.0.4 for me.
Hope this helps someone else...
