[clue-talk] DB footprint Oracle,Mysql,Ingress

I see database discussions on the recent meeting
agendas.

What is the minimum footprint of any of these?
Assume a command-line interface (no GUI needed)
and program (C or C++) use of sql.

Can disk space be allocated to the data base later,
i.e. after the DB is installed?
If so, can it be done dynamically or require a
DB reboot? Is the later addition of disk space a
can of worms?

I am just trying to get the highest level comparison,
so I know where to explore further. I know Mysql is
not full featured, but is progressing.
