Although some Police Departments are issuing
tickets using cameras, I think the new use
is to populate databases and serve as a record
that they can later refer to.

In England, I think they would not have caught
the recent terrorists, so quickly, without cameras.

All these snooping and surveillance technologies
will become more powerful, and more commonly used,
just as computers have become commonly used.
