National debt / deficit / taxes:  I think most folks are in favor of lower taxes.  I'm
actually not.  I've always been in favor of a balanced budget with a plan, no matter how
long-term, that gets the U.S. out of debt.

Questions:

What is the debt per-capita now?

Is there a "general perception" on the national debt?
