Haven't noticed that much difference myself, but then I've made no comparisons.

Ayup here too. The only plugins I use are mplayer, flash, java,
realplayer, and pdf, and I've noticed no problems. I use no
extensions, so can't comment on that.

All in all, a big yawn from my perspective.

As a negative, I'm not really fond of the bookmark maintenance
windows. I find that rather confusing, but maybe I'll grok that one of
these days.

I'm actually using the Swiftfox variant.
