I'm unsurprised, globally disppointed, but hopeful for the future, at least with regard to the less important issues.

This is a clear mandate for the Dems.  They have control of everything now.  Gridlock is entirely unavailable as an excuse.  If they do some good, good.  I'll help if I can.  If they don't, my friends will get some serious and pointed teasing.  I'm going to start now to try to change my own mind by reading the Audacity of Hope.  Wish me luck.
