What choice does a society have except to rely upon socialism to rescue

billion that we have to give the banks? I really don't see how anyone
can sit here and try the Reagan-era tactics of demonizing a word (like
they did with communism, which to be fair required a totalitarian regime
to implement so it was kind of bad) when we've just gone through
providing relief for banking institutions. And yes, we have to do it.
At least most sane people don't want a completely free market at the
cost of great suffering.
GDP per capita is a statistic doesn't mean anything if one person has
all the money: you're still a poor country.
